Sending DMX to Martin LJ over LAN

So I like freestyler, but the company I work with likes Martin LightJockey. Solution: every time I do a show I have to unscrew a sh*tload of panels to get the dmx dongle out of the flight case they put their system in and connect it to my laptop. I have to run both programs at the same time etc etc... You get the point. The owner didn't really like my 'screwing' around with their LJ system, so now he's prohibited me from opening the case, or installing FS on that pc. Bummer!
Would it be possible to use the 'send DMX to LJ' function in FS over ethernet? Would this be hard to implement? Can I possibly program this myself?
It would certainly make my life easier...
