I recently got a new pc, thats running vista. My old pc was xp & ran freestyler no problem version 2.96

Ive installed latest version 3.01 on my new pc. It installs ok, but doesnt run at all. I double click and it just dissapears, I dont even get an error message.

So, I installed version 2.96 which installs and starts up ok. I added my fixtures, set everything up. Then when I close the program down I get "subscript out of range" just before it closes.

Then when I start up the program again all the fixtures I had installed are gone?

Tried saving them, not sure if its something im doin wrong as regards saving them or something else.

Any ideas anyone?

Thanks

Sorted!

For some reason to launch version 3.01 in Vista, you have to right click, the click "run as administrator"

Dont know why?

Any ideas??

Versions before 3.01 just will not run on vista!

I think that if you have any doubt that you will run into troubles, then don't use that setup at the gig, or have a spare setup (or DMX controller) at the gig where you can switch to in case of troubles.

Furthermore, thats the only way to find out if there are any troubles, just use it and hope for the best.
