moving lights and cue's

hi
is it possablt to run moving lights and run cue's with out the moving lights being reset the the cue 's settings?
for instance 2 moving lights moving around the stage and 6 cans flashing in a sequence that can be started and stoped with out the moving lights being affected

Easy;
Create 2 sequences, one that ONLY controles your moving lights. The other only controls the 6 cans.
Add them both to the Cue and start them both.
Then you can start and stop both of them and they won't affect eachother.

or use the submasters, then you could have a list of 20 cues for cans, and another list of 20 cues for movers. and can select one from each list.

Make sure you create your cues in transparent mode.
