i have been playing with this.
take a look @

If the next version supports Channel commands, then il gladly move my android app over to that.It would be a lot easier for users to have this server built in.

Hi,
I don't have a Mac but basically you need to make sure that your windows system running in Parallels will get a real IP address from the WiFi network you connect your Mac to.
Check this article, that might help:
http://stackoverflow.com/questions/2970 ... ost-to-acc
Then open a command prompt in windows, type "ipconfig" to get your windows IP and try to connect to it.
Good luck!

I'm trying to understand how the FS TCPIP server works.
Sending de ASCII command FSOC002255 is working ok, it toggles blackout
What are the ASCII commands to send i.e. ch1@DMX200 or ch1-3@DMX128 ?
Can someone please explain that ?
Thanks,
Ed

your in the wrong topic, this topic is for the external server. and would take your commands exactly as you post above, but each part must be separated by a space.
But to answer your question there is a manual in your fs directory called sendmessages and tcpip.
There is also a topic discussing this exact problem, here

you don't do anything with the dll, it something that the server requires access to.
iv re downloaded the rar file and extracted it fine, and ran the server without problems. so that rules out corrupt download.
Ensure you have the latest service pack and .net runtime files installed on your computer. its a long shot but its good to be uptodoate.

I have an HTC Hero running Android 2.1. Whenever I press the quickconnect button on this app it just pops up the market app with this app loaded in the market. Any ideas as to why?
Has anyone tried the $0.99 app on iOS? Zinman one is cool & would get it long term if this setup will function the way I want it to. I hate to spend 20 bucks to try something out.
Thanks, Chuck

Hi, The quick connect requires barcode scanner installed as explained in the messageBox "To quickConnect barcode scanner is required! would you like to install it! and thats why it takes you to the market,
once installed it will allow you to scan the QR code on the server and auto setup the connection

This function part didn't seem to work well. I was having problems being able to get to the settings menu to try to input the settings manually. When it would take me to the market it was taking me to it was taking me to the remote app page not the barcode scanner page. It never asked me anything about wanting to install the barcode app. This message box finally showed up one time when I did not have mobile internet connection turned on. It seems that it wasn't handling the error of not having the barcode scanner installed correctly.

I'm having the same issue as described above. And I do have the QRC dll in the same directory as well. Would you have any more suggestions to fix this?

As you described above, I've updated my computer with all possible .net packages (2.0 SP1 & SP2, 3.0 SP1 & SP2, 3.5 SP1, 4) I do not get any error messages anymore, but the server does not start up at all, when I double click the .exe file, now nothing happens at all.
Please help me out on this...

Fixed the last one as well, in some odd way my computer executed the .exe file with a copatibility mode for win 95. After I unchecked this option, everything is working amasingly well! Great App!!!
