the shift function

Post by LJ_krede.dk »

Hey everybody

two quick questions:

is there anybody who knows what the "shift function" for midi is doing?
there is also a "shift" button at right side of the midi control window in options, see attached picture. what is that good for?

thank you in advance

Im not sure how to explain this clearly,
On Midi controlers you may only have a set number of faders, buttons etc.
So page's where introduced so that changing the page changed the function of all the buttons/faders.

The shift button only changes the function of faders/buttons that have an alternative shift function for as long as the shift button is held down.
much like the shift button on your keyboard.
