I have a JMS USB2DMX interface and I am currently diagnosing some problems with a few laser units I have from Microh Pro. Is there a setting that can lower the number of transmitted channels from 512 to any user selectable value from 1 - 512?

phlukenine had send me a private message about this a few days earlier.
The max channel setting is only implemented for some interfaces, under wich is the Velleman VM116 but not the JMS USB2DMX.
So actually phlukenine is asking here (to Raph, the developer) if that setting can be implemented for the JMS USB2DMX interface.
Still a little thing I did'nt thought about while private messaging to phlukenine; in the new (beta) version of FreeStyler there is also another parameter implement which is available for every interface. The output resfresh rate. Normally in older versions of FreeStyler it is set to 50msec, fixed.
Now it can be lowered to 20msec. I noticed the difference (big time!), so maybe its an solution for phlukenines problem.
In the mean time I have asked Raph, the developer, to think about making the beta versions public available here.
