Resizing pan / tilt travel

Post by pspencer1983 »

I've been to a few venues and noticed my moving heads could do with trimming on the pan travel to suit the room.
I see the function in setup > freestyler setup > preferences > pan / tilt resize and I've lowered all the way to 1% on the left and right, hit save but nothing happens.

For example, if I run them facing forward from a sequence via a cue in a sideways figure of 8.

Whilst I'm happy with the tilt travel, the pan could do with either shrinking or extending dependant on venue size.

Is there a quick way of keeping the aspect of the shape (ie not shrinking as it shrinks the tilt travel) but tighting up how far they can travel on the pan, other than editing the shape for every venue?

IE small room

Large room
