Hi all,
I have managed to create and program etc an equinox microbar.
I've started to look at putting together an offline (3d view) so I don't have to get the kit out all the time.
I'm struggling to find or how to create a fixture that has four heads of pars.
I have tried inserting four par cans separating the addresses to match each of the pods channels (ch1,2,3,4,5,6 / ch1,2,3,7,8,9 / ch1,2,3,10,11,12 / ch1,2,3,13,14,15) but this doesn't work
All I can seem to get is either the pars not reacting as they should (as in as the fixture would in real life) have seen all light up blue and only 1 will strobe etc or I can get a single rectangular fixture that's listed as 4 headed (and adjusted the channels to suit) but it blends the 4 pars together (ie if 2 are on red and 2 on blue i would get a purple light) with no beam, just the fixture face changes color.
Think this is the same issue I am facing:

Thanks in advance for any help or thoughts.

Re: 4 can par bar
Do you have RGB segments set up in the Fixture? If not, try the attached fixture definition. RGB segments gives you the ability to control each of the heads independently. You will probably find the color window helpful but the sliders should work fine.
The manual is not clear about channel 1. You may have to set channel 1's value in the 11 to 21 range for your microbar to operate but I really don't know.
If your problem is with Magic 3D my apologies. I have not used Magic 3D and am not familiar with it at all.

Re: 4 can par bar
Hi Rod, thanks for the response.
Yes my issue is with Magic 3d.
I cant seem to find a fixture suitable to reflect the microbar.
If another similar fixture that is already listed is inserted (Kam make a similar one) and the addresses changed to suit it shows a rectangular light blending the colours of each of the 4 pars into one instead of 4 separate heads.
Channel 1 is usually set at 12 for operation. I have everything in freestyler / real life working, was trying to get the 3d side working so I dont have to keep getting kit out.
