Hey,
I have downloaded the latest Version of Freestyler. I also have downloaded Magic 3D Easy View, within the installer. Now I have added in Freestyler some Fixtures and now I want to see them in action in Magic 3D Easy View. But I always get the standard-view of a stage or an emtpy stage.
So how can I test my Fixtures in Magic 3D Easy View?
thanks hibbert

you have to add the fixtures in Magic 3D Easy View manually. choose new scene and add the fixtures on the same DMX adresses you have chosen in FS

Re: Magic 3D Easy View Doesn't Display My Fixtures
Did you open/start the Magic 3D Easy View program from FreeStyler?
If not:
Press the “3D” button in the FreeStyler toolbar to start the Magic 3D Easy View program. If you have opened the program by not using the “3D” icon on the FreeStyler toolbar then FreeStyler is not connected the Magic 3D Easy View.
if you did:
open the output window in FS (Edit --> Show Output) and oprn the DMX level window in Magic 3D (Toolbar button with the text "DMX")
change son attributes in FS (gobo, color intensity, etc) and see if any values is changed in the output and DMX windows.

Re: Magic 3D Easy View Doesn't Display My Fixtures
you can not always trust the Magic 3D Easy View... some effects cant be shown correctly... however a strobe should flash...
which fixture is it,, then i will check it for errors.

Hehe, ok, good to know
I have tried the Stairville dmx200 and the Stairville PAR 56 LED. Both should be flashing... but I just see a white beam
thanks a lot.

Hi hibbert. I'm having the same problem. How did you solve the problem?

Re: Magic 3D Easy View Doesn't Display My Fixtures
You'd need to edit the fixture using the speciix creator for easyview 3d which is generally quite easy
