Shape Generator

Post by Tom »

I was just wondering whether there is a shape generator in FS or if one could be implemented?

For example you can draw a shape such as a circle then save this as a step in a sequence?

Instead of having to go to pan/tilt and do it that way?

Create a sequence, select the fixture(s) you want, open the pan/tilt window, choose a shape already existing (circle, eight, etc..) , click on the "off" button at the left of the pan/tilt window and here you are. You can also easily edit the shapes, save them etc... just click "View" for editing.

I know it can be done this way - but I said without having to do it the pan/tilt way.

Basically, create a shape and then put it into a ste in a chase.

Not sure what you are asking because he answered you correctly. Inside the Pan/Tilt box there is an option to turn on premade shapes or edit your own. How are you proposing it should be done?

I mean like an option so it can be incorportated into a cue. For example, cue 1 is a PAR can chase, I can then click 2 and my movers will start doing a shape and different movers can do different shapes all in the same cue.

When you have about 100 movers, the pan/tilt way can take a while!
