Hey Guys. here is a tested fixture file for the JB Systems Smooth Scan 3. I have used the icons form the user manual. It works for me but if you make changes please repost.

Eey man, ik just bought this laser and wanted to use your fixture file, but i cant open it in the editor. Did you use a wierd name/font/letters or something? Look at the fixture under fixture name:

I hope so. Making simple fixtures in not really a problem for me but this 1 is getting a little to hard for me i think. If i open the file in notepad it seems to be very different from other fixtures. I think something went wrong saving it.

I have opened the file in Fixture Creator 6.3 and exported it again. I have updated the file in the first post. Try again and let me know if all goes well.

I can open it and add it to freestyler so that seems to be better. I get my laser thuesday so i let you guys know if it works as it should. Thanks for the help!

DJDaveSA do you have this laser yourself? In this movie, from 2.30, you see moving animations ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ybzcelm1dXM ). When i click on the same picture in freestyler i do get the "starting picture" of the animation but not the whole animation. Can i only see that moving animations in automatic mode? Would be strange... (And yes i know i can change the animation with x-z-y / clipping / ect, but that does not give me the same animation as in the movie)

I do have one and you are right. The moving animations are only available in the auto modes. I have been keeping tabs on there website to see if they do bring out an updated firmware. We have also got the newer spectra 3D laser but do not have any ILDA laser hardware and software so we are stuck using the auto programs aswell.

I found it, i did a least copy 1 of the moving animations with dmx controllss.

This is what i did to get to this. first i made a 45 degree button (you dont have to, i included the new fixture in the post).

Than i played with the last 4 channels of the dmx (see the right side of this picture) until i got the good movement.

Mijn only questions can someone show me how to make slide buttons of something for the last 4 dmx channels, or is this not possible?

And here we are again, i made some buttons again. 6 buttons for forwarding/backwarding and stopping the x/y axes. And i use prism and prism rotation as slider for the x/y speed.

Cant add anything more without editing the whole thing... 150 marcro´s reached...

hi djd2f it was an issue with the our forum we had... i've now just done some backend magic and fixed the file for you! if you download it again it should work please let me know if it works now!
