Fixtures from FS into 3DE View?
How do you get fixtures in Freestyler into 3D View?
I have some fixtures I build for ones I didn't have in FS, do you have to manually build them for 3d view as well? Can you convert the ones built into FS into 3D View?

Re: fixtures
No you can not Convert a FS fixture to a #Dview fixture.
you need to create the Fixture again for 3dview.
you can find the fixture creator for 3dview in the FS folder as Scanlib.exe

Re: fixtures
ya know, lighting software not being able to use each others fixture files suck...once you go into the FS creator and get your whole rig going, then you have to go in and repeat the entire process with 3D viewer. It wouldn't be so bad if,for example, they were very similar, but as we know it isn't. The fixture creators (3D view) to me are so different and not user friendly at all..so it's very discouraging to use for me..It's almost like a chore instead of fun,and I think lighting should be fun.

Re: fixtures
That is because it is a 3rd party application. if you were to purchase an application that does both eg. GMA2 it would cost you a lot more. Even if you owned a copy of Capture Argo, you would still need LX software for control and because they are a different supplier then you would have to make sure that the profile channel mapping in both software was the same. Yeah Light should be fun but Virtual is never that easy. Neither is a Bumpin and config of a real rig.
