How Do I Create an ADJ 38P LED Pro Fixture?

Post by newj »

I went into fixture creator and started creating a fixture for the MAerican DJ LED Pro using the table in the spec sheet for this fixture. I can get it to work in freestyler. Also, I can't figure where to enter channels 4 and 6 for this fixture. Channel 4 is listed for NOTHING from 0 to 7 and COLOR MACRO from 8 to 255. Channel 6 has multiple functions at various addresses as follows;

0 - 31 NOTHING
32 - 63 DIM BRIGHT
64 - 95 BRIGHT DIM
96 - 127 DIM BRIGHT DIM
128 - 159 COLOR MIXING
160 - 191 3 COLOR CHANGE
192 - 223 7 COLOR CHANGE
224 - 255 SOUND ACTIVE

Where do you enter these functions in fixture creator Also, I bought a USB to DMX interface cable on eBay and I cna't get it to work. I may be having issues with the uDMX driver. Anyone know where I can get a good copy of the driver?

thks Jim ^_^

Hej newj

Please export the fixture and upload it here and I will try to guide you.

You have been looking in the "Wiki". There are some tutorials that may help you.

Hej Uncle Easy.

Looks ok but I will prefer to have the color control on the RGB channels.
In this way the color will also work if someone want to use global colors as control.

It is not necessary to have the colors as macros.
Just change the color palette in FS to basic then only a few basic color icons will appear.

I have made the easy part of the fixture here.
If you want then you can enter the tricky part in the macro.

It is the “color macro” channel 4 and the whole channel 6 control.

I don’t have the fixture so I can’t test or enter these function but I can guide you if you want.
