External Controllboard for Freestyler

Post by heelium »

I´ve got some questions about the extrernal control of freestyler.

Is there the possibility to control/dimm/flash single parcans with an external controller for example Korg Nano Control? I thougt about 8-16 Channels.

When yes, i´m also able to dim/flash the pars if there is running a Cue (eg. the Movingheads)?
How i´ve got to programme the scenes/cues for the ohter devices (Heads, LEDs) to ensure this function?

So I don´t have to install two DMX-Lines, one for Freestyler (Movingheads, LED-Effects etc.) and one for my DMX-PAR Controller.

Thank you for supporting.

Yes this is posible.

You can use MIDI to DMX to assaigne a DMX channel to a Fader on the Midi controler.
and you can make up to 24 Midi to dmx channels
Yes you can also use it During Playback, it will be maked as a Manual override and to Release it use "Release all"

Also the Korg nano should work with freestyler, I would also recomend to look at the BCF2000 from beheringer.

i hoped this helped you.

Oh yes,

it is the answer I looked for.

The Behringer BCF 2000 with Motorfaders sounds and looks very interesting.

Let´s bye and try it.

Thank´s a lot.
