Re: More Cues and Masterfader
HI,
The number of cues available will probably keep me from using FS.
I want to use it for theatrical performances and I can easily use 20 cues in the first act.
If it is a fast paced play, I could use 20 cues in the first scene!

Re: More Cues and Masterfader
I have been using the sub masters screen as this allows you to add a different cue list of 20 sequences to each of the 20 sub masters. As you have 20 sub masters that will give you 20 X 20 sequences this gives a total of 400 sequences (i use these as my stage scenes). I am using a Behringer BCF2000-WH midi controller that will allow me to assign a midi fader to each master fader in FS and two midi buttons to step next and previous through the sequences in a given sub master channel.
If a stage scenes has a lot of light changes I simply program them into one sequence (I have set a limit of 400 steps per sequence) and then use the manual trigger to step through them. (this is also assigned to a midi button)
If you think of it in 3 levels you have a sub master (I use to control the overall intensity of the lights) that is made up of several sequences (each main stage scene/set on stage) that is made up of several scenes. (light changes for the stage scene, this could be flashing or change positions of lights to follow your actors around the stage)
