Fades Between Scenes

I have a request to simply fade between each scene to the next. I have a bunch of par 64's, 8 led bars and 2 color pallets that will need to change from one scene to the next. To make it simple. Say I have four par 64's setup. I want lights 1 and 3 to be 100% in the first scene and lights 2 and 4 to be 100% in the second scene. I have setup a cue list that I have loaded into the submaster area. 1st cue is 1and3, 2nd is 2and4. Forgive me if my terminology is not correct, I am new to the product and trying to catch up. I run the cues and the fades work but the only problem I have is that the lights 1and3 go completely dark and then 2and4 fade in, the reverse is also true. Is their anyway to time it to where 1and3 dim at the same time as 2 and 4 turn on? I need a somewhat smooth transition, at this point the house is going dark and then the lights are fading in. I have also tried to use one cue with multiple steps but I still get completely dark and then the fade in.

From further reading I believe this may be an issue with HTP and LTP.
I think when I am advancing through submasters that the next or last is taking precedence.
Which means that those lights that are not on in the second submaster snap to dark.

Does this sound correct, and if so is there anyway around this?

I just need to confirm if there is no way to cross fade between scenes. I need to make sure the house doesn't go completely dark before the next scene fades in. If there is a way to do this, please give me some tips.

If there is no way to accomplish this, please let me know so I can stop banging my head against the wall.
From what I have read in other posts, I don't think there is but wanted to hear it from an educated user.

You could simply program the scene to do that... i.e. 1 & 3 are full on then as you make the change in the next step to fade out to 0 for 1 & 3 you say on that same scene fade upto 100% 2 & 4 so while 1 & 3 fade out 2 & 4 Fade in then your next scene is them (2 & 4) at 100% so thats 3 scenes (1&3 on 2&4 off, 1&3 fade out while 2&4 fade in, 1&3 now off and 2&4 are on!)

I also have this problem. As I would like to use the sub masters to cross fade between my scenes with a midi controller. Is there on option for freestyler use Highest takes president (HTP) over last takes president (LTP? If not is there any chance to have it added to the change control?

oke people i have taked to the developer, and there have been a bug.

i'm running 4.4.5 and the bug have been solved only some little new bug have arived so that also needs to be solved.

so you need to wait until the new beta version comes.

Yes i think so

but it was the day after 3.4.4 raph gave me 3.4.5, becuase of the HTP Problem

I read through the bug tracker page. So this is now a confirmed bug, correct? This will be resolved in the next release, correct? After this cross fades will be possible, correct? Just making sure I understood the posts and the bug tracker page correctly. For those of us new to FS is there a typical time frame for new releases. I know that this varies based on the time needed to program a new release. I'm just looking for a rough estimate. Are we talking about 3 weeks, 3 months, a year just a rough estimate. I'm hoping some of the more in the know users will have an idea. Thanks for all your help I really appreciate the responses.

i'm not going to comfirme if your Cross fade idea will work.
You need to test it your self.

How much do he release a new version, it's just random, when he think that the beta is good enough.

But keep it on one Release the Month. and if your a Beta Tester like me 4 times the month or a little bit more.

Depant on the amount of Bugs you find.
