Background pictures
Anyone know the size of the un-maximized main window? I'd like to create a black background with the name of the location in white so I can keep everything straight.
A little knowledge is a dangerous thing.

Re: Background pictures
I do not know the size. But why not simply make a screenshot and use a graphik tool to select the background area... That way you should be able to see how big it is.
I know, my english is not the best. If you have any problem to understand you are welcome to give me englisch lessons

Re: Background pictures
I was trying to get around multiple reboots. I use Ubuntu Linux for everything except Freestyler and gaming. I'm reluctant to install anything I don't need on my lighting control partition. It's not 800x600 and I haven't tried 1024x768 yet. It would be nice to just plop the size into Gimp and be done in 5 minutes.

Re: Background pictures
I tried 976x666 and it's too narrow. So I just made some at 1024x768 and let them hang off the ends. Really handy. Set name and song list in white on a black background. No paper to worry about.
I also have the lyrics for all the songs with my cues above the lines, like guitar chords on sheet music. With one tune per page I can see an entire tune in print preview. Page down gets me the next song in the list.
Time to panic. First live gig is in two days.
