some of my friends/colleagues and me locked ourself into a small dark room with a projector, a smoke machine and a laptop with some youtube videoes of laser animations. this is what we got:
it looked really nice (as you can hear we were really excited)
unfortunately the projector was not powerful enough to be used for a party we had. I don't no how much lumen it was but it was not enough. But i think we will test it again some day with a bigger projector
@mmax: a lot of the youtube vidoes you have posted is "removed by user"

with a Acer PD523 with 2300Lumes i think. my owne beamer..
the only problem is you allways have a very very shiny spot from your beamerbut have been thinking to make some kind of Shutter to hide the shiny spot if it's not use't
And no smoke machine just me and my Joint dahm what was i stoned that day
but i quit this project beceuse if you want a nice beam you realy need something like 10.000lumes to have a nice effect, and i don't have this.

I already seen that !! that was with an other software "Modul8", people use it for vjing (mapping video) but this is not free...
So, now with this software i'll can do all i want...
