Chauvet Pinspot 360 Topic is solved

Has anyone worked with the Chauvet Pinspot 360?

I think I have the dip switches set correct but I'm getting no response from FS.

Here's what I've got:

Dip [10] on (as suggested in the manual)
Dip [5] on (since I'm running on address 5-9)

I've created a 5 channel fixture in the FS Fixture creator, and have it running on the correct address in FS.

Am I missing something?

Dip 5 on did not mean you set it up to chennel 5 but to channel 16. It is a binary system. Pleas try to finde out how it works. You can start here for example: http://www.thedmxwiki.com/definitions/dip_switches
There you can finde a dip-switch calculator, which will tell you need to set Dip 1 and 3 to on, to address channel 5.

Thank you, Mavi. That was it! I didn't know it was binary. I suppose if they put that somewhere in the manual (or maybe I missed it) that would be good.

Anyway, everything is working correctly. By the way, here is my first run with FS and my DMX lights. I'm missing one of my Pinspot 360's but it'll be here tomorrow!

Might I add, I'm controlling everything wirelessly via my iphone.
