USB joystick

Post by everton_cwb »

Hi there!

I've configured an USB Joystick (Playstation-like) to control the DMX via Freestiler, but we cant assign the analogical axis unless if we press the axis button (pressing down the lever).

Actually, if I press the lever, I can control the moving heads, but the Freestiler assigns the position of the lever to the relative position of the moving (neutral lever position=moving head full up/full forward lever position=moving full front down and so on).

Is there any way to configure the analogical axis to control the moving head movement? (e.g. lever a little to left=moving head begins turning a little to left/lever full left=moving head turning to left in hi speed and so on).

Thanks in advance

I would also like to know this - I am unable to get my USB gamepad to react to the joystick control. I am unable to assign the joystick too.

Any help would be appreciated.

Hi Spirit,

Thanks for your reply but I don't have a XBox controller so this wouldn't really apply to me.

Or would it?

No indeed i think that the XBOX fix will not help with a PLaystation controler.

But Maby Sony haves a Driver for Windows so it will be seen as a Joystick.
