Flame Projectors Fixture Creator

Post by FireworkCrazy »

Hi All,

New to the forum and FreeStyler.

I've purchased some 4 channel DMX flame projectors, each channel operates a different coloured flame in the fixture.

I've tried to set up a basic fixture but I must be doing somthing wrong as it doens't appear to be working.

I've looked at some turorials but they all seem to be for complex lighting with gobos etc. I just need four channels.

Can someone point me in the right direction.

Thanks in advance.

Mark

There is no manual / name, they were custom made. They're 4 channels

First of all you must set same DMX addresses on fixture and in the FS. You can see them in Setup -> Add/Remove fixtures.
Second thing. I suppose you have 3 color channels (RGB) and 1 for the lamp. That one must have value above approx. 200 on some fixtures to turn on. Try it and report.
