Over 3 Magic Led VARYTEC

Hello! I need somebodys help because I cant get my fixture working! The name of the fixture : Over 3 Magic Led VARYTEC( 11 Dmx Channels)! It works with the Chauvet Vue 3 fixture but the channels are not the right channels and the Vue 3 has only 9 channels. A very big problem is that I cant dimm it...? Looking at the manual, it states 10 DMX channels, not 11?
Furthermore it seems there is no DMX channel that has a dim option, so dimming would never be possible. Not with FreeStyler, not with anything.
Or one of the so called "LED Lighting wheel" channels (DMX Ch. 4...10) is a dimmer, but its not documented in the manual.

After having a look to the manual (which is german by the way - no problem for me, but perhaps for other ones - do you have an english one?) I would say ther is no dimming channel. So you can not dimm your light. But there are many LED lighting wheel channels. I do not owne the fixture so I can not test it.

You say it is an 11 channel fixture, but I only see 10 channels in the manual.

Since the Chauvet Vue 3 is a different fixture you have to edit the fixture file. Or you have to create your owne fixture file for the Over 3 Magic LED. How to do that is very good discribed in the Wiki section "Fixture Creator" http://www.freestylersupport.com/wiki/fixture_creator

The manual does mention it has a dimmer on page 4. ("Blackout, statisch, Dimmer, Strobo"). Its just not documented in the DMX channel description where it is.
So you (manutraxx) need to find out what channel controls that. But it might be possible you can't dim the fixture with a DMX channel. But only be able to dim it as by the use of an built in effect.

Thanks for your support at first. I dont find the english manual in the www but I've got it whit the light. The 11th Channel were only red or green or blue ore all together... If none of the 11 channels were dimming there is no other way to dimm it? (Sorry for my bad english )

You can send only 127 instad of 255 for Red to ged a darker Red. This can of course be done for all colors. But in fact it is an other color you send, no dimming.
