mini spots

Post by tl2hend »

Iam just getting started with Freestyler and i have 8 mini spots back line, how do i limit the movement of my spots to the area in front of the back drop?
Horizontal (straight forward) to vertical (straight down), about a 90 deg forward to down, 100 deg side to side, i want to keep my beams in the stage area. also my mini spots seem to be 180 deg out. when i turn them on, they center up with the front of the lamp to the back. any idea why?
any help would be appreciated.

There is no quick and easy way to do that. What you can do:
1. open your fixture in Fixture creator and define default values so the light does what you want when freestyler opens.
2. Create sequences that only utilize the area you want the lights to move in.
3. you CANNOT define an area that the lights will only operate in. You CAN define the area you want sequences to run in but it greatly affects the effect
