Midi problems

Post by TheAlchemist »

Hi guys, Im just trying to install freestyler on a new pc I’ve had no problem on past systems, however now when I try to trigger midi - DMX it will trigger maybe the first two or so midi notes and then not do any further. Freestyler is still receiving the midi notes as I can see on the midi page within freestyler, however it just stops doing anything with those notes. I’ve tried fresh installs etc and I’m just a bit stumped!

Any help would be appreciated
Video for example linked here

EDIT: I’ve discovered it will play any note once, but then not release that note afterwards, then not being able to play that note again

I got hung up for a while recently and found the issue was my velocity setting. Freestyler expects 127 by default. You can change that in the freestyler.ini file.
