Animated gif's

Post by Jan_K »

Hej folks

From time to time I look for gobos and so on.

I found some animated gif's in DMX Pro which may be usable here.

Have a look.

hi jan_k i have taken a look at it seems realy nice only there's a problem.

the animations from FS are made @ a size of 20x20 pixel. gives 400 DMX channels.
the ones you show are @ 60x80 this means 4800 dmx channels. so it will only show a small part from the total gif animation.

and also i have made some gifs my self and i noticed if the gifs are to big it takes forever for FS to load the image.

Hej Spirit

I saw the relative large size

4800 X 3. (RGB) so14400 channels. or 29 universes. :D

It is a long time since I last tested the "led trix" but you may be right about the loading time.
My guess is that some of the gif's with low details can be used with a decent result.
