latest version of Fs has fixed the reverse issue.
I used goMonkey for the first time in a real enviroment, small issue found with the xml creator.
the creator adds. .chb to the end of the sequence name in xml. this is not required and will create a file not found error.

Hello, I tried to use FS and GO monkey, but no sucess.
First of all I want to know if I can do what I want if this app.
I have a music and I want with just one start command the program change the sequences sync with the music, this is possible? I want something like that:
I press the start button toghter with the music
0.0 seconds - sequence1
1.2 seconds - sequence 2
2.5 seconds - sequence 3

Unfortunately not the current resolution of the timer is 1 second, apart from that it would be able to do this.
Look out for the show Monkey. This will do what you want but is along way from being finished.

It seems that all the .chb files must be in the "C:\FreeStyler\Chases" folder, otherwise we get an error "File not found". Sequence classification by sub-folders should be avoided.
File names must not contain accented characters otherwise we get an error "Bad file name or number".
After saving XML file with "GoMonkey Easy XML" we must edit the xml file to delete the ".chb" after each sequence name otherwise we get an error "File not found".

It appears that the "Fade and Loop" options are in reverse logic : when one of these options is checked in GoMonkey, the option is disabled in freestyler.

Unfortunately, there are often errors when trying to save the XML file. In most cases, an error window appears, but not always. There, I have not had but the file was empty. Here's what's left of my work

create loops in the cue stack.
various bug fixes, fixed issues with random/fade/loop being reversed.

Update to address the problem where a scene would not play under certain conditions.
The software no longer needs to keep track of the play/stop status of sequences within the freestyler software.

Hi there ! I play drums in a band and want to be able to control the lights via MIDI signals sent from a Roland trigger pad. At the moment I've programmed FS with a light show for a particular song. I've done this by creating a sequence for:
* the intro (45 seconds)
* a verse (60 seconds)
* a chorus (20 seconds)
* the solo (25 seconds)
* the outro (30 seconds)
and I've set up a cue stack called song 1 and dragged each of the items into it in the required order:
* intro
* verse
* chorus
* verse
* chorus
* solo
* chorus
* outro
I'm hoping to be able to step through each one in turn so at the start of the song I trigger the intro which runs for 45 seconds and then it holds until I manually trigger the next sequence for the verse and so on and so on.
Is this possible ? If so, what combination of parameters do I need to set because I've tried pretty much everything and can't get it to work.
If I understand this right, the wait time is the total time of the song (in this example 280 seconds) and if I tick 'Halt' then at the end of the song then it won't go to the next cue in the list (song 2). Is that right ?
Also, would it be possible to list the cues in the left hand column of the main window and the sequences for that cue in the right hand column ? That would make it much easier to see which sequence is running at the time.

The wait time is the amount of time the software waits until GOing onto the next cue. so for your into this could be 45 seconds and then it will advance onto the next cue, if you want it to wait untill you next trigger then select the halt option, it will keep the cue running until you press GO, which will then load and play the next cue.
Freestyler will list the running sequences in the normal cue window if you need this information.

Based on what I read that's what I thought would happen but having set it up like that it doesn't run as expected. I've just got back from band practice so my brain addled - I'll take another look in the morning and will post my findings.

Try version six. Version 7 doesn't seem to work correctly with Fs and needs looking into.

Took the same scene 4 par forward red chase, added it twenty times, reversed every other with no sound..
Also, cue only has 16 entries, not 20 sent into the cue......some type of array boundary error:

Ok I did a logic check, I did a 4 par red chase pattern. I loaded the same chase by draggin it in this many times and its results:
5 times > ok
6 times > ok
10 times > ok
15 times > ok
16 times > crashes
So clearly there is a problem when more than 15 cue scenes created. While they LOAD into you program, the crash only shows itself when you press GO.
Also, the reverse is not working, I took the red chases, alternated as forward and reverse, only the forwards were working in the cue......seems reverse is somehow broken.
