O-Clamp Slipping

If you use O Clamps Like These,

You may notice that they twist on the bar no matter how tight you get them.

A Trick is to wrap the pole with Gaffer tape first, then clamp over the tape. This will prevent the light from moving!

??? You must be using really crap clamps!
I use metal ones (doughty) with no slip problems.
Think I'd get pissed of if some covered my truss in gaffer tape.
