Next fault finding stage?

Post by pd2 »

Freestyler 4.1.2 on Win10
uDMX Digitally signed 6.1.7600.16385 "This device is working properly"
In setup I selected uDMX
Installed my Uking ParB2 Device on address 0001. I have another 3 of these.
It's plugged in.
Used this video to get started.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-n2kFE9EbWA

I can move the sliders for the device but nothing happens.

So when I select Menu, Window, All, get nothing extra on screen.
Tried "Reset windows positions" but that didn't help.
Not sending anything to the light.
Searched on the forum for this problem but found nothing...
so that means that I've gone wrong somewhere or I have faulty hardware.
Anybody words of wisdom for me for the next stage?

does the address match the device in the add/remove fixtures window? does the udmx have a light on it showing activity? is the cable ok? have you tried all 3?
