Triggering cuelist with midi

Post by sukebe »

total noob here.
I have a few simple moves that I don't really need to sequence beyond the cue sequencer.
I built 7 cues of moves and fades, etc.
I can't find a way to trigger these cues, set to not loop, with midi notes.
I don't see 'cue bottons' that have been mentioned in this forum. When I make a cue sequence, I check the 'add to buttons' and the cue shows up in the override buttons, which don't work.

Is there a way to trigger the cues that are in the cuelist, with MIDI notes?

Thanks so much!

OK, I figured it out:
NOTE: THE MOST IMPORTANT THING TO KNOW ABOUT THIS IS THAT THE MIDI NOTES NEED TO BE FULL VELOCITY!
I'll explain the rest of how to make it work after I finish my project.
