Hello there,
I'm Jean-Sébastien and i'm drummer of a post-rock band called Cloud Shelter (Lyon / France).
As we made instrumental music, lights are very important.
We bought this:
Showtec DIM-4LC
ENTTEC Open DMX usb
We use 4 Ikea Stand with 4 Edison Bulb to create ambiance.
I just want to use FreeStyler so simply, just create random move of itensity (up & down slowly) and I don't know how to do it
Thanks

Re: Help for Band Lights
OK. Do you want the intensity of all 4 bulbs to be the same or do you want the intensity different?
I do not see a way in Freestyler to use random timing. If the 4 bulbs can be at different intensities then what can be done is to create 4 sequences with different fade and scene times. By placing these sequences in a Cue all 4 sequences can be run simultaneously. Not really random but the visual effect may be near enough to be acceptable.

Re: Help for Band Lights
Configure your DIM-4LC as a 4 channel dimmer.
This is the exported fixture definition file.
Import it to Freestyler and add 4 fixtures to Freestyler. The first fixture must have a DMX address of 1, the second 2, the third 3 and the forth 4.
This is the Cue (it is ZIPed, you must UNZIP it and place it in the Freestyler/Cues folder):
These are the 4 Sequences in a folder named ShqM (again, a ZIP file - you must UNZIP it and place the folder with the Sequences in the Freestyler/Chases folder
Open the ShqM cue. Make sure Cue Multiselect always enabled is checked. Start all 4 sequences.
I hope this works and is what you want. Please reply and let me know if this is OK or suggest changes.
