tas synchro digital

Post by gareth »

morning all, has any one owned or used a tas synchro digital?

Image

I got given one a few weeks a go :) it powers up but not a lot happens, the mirror ball like mirrors all spin the same way and all of the flat mirrors go to the same position (no back and forth setting up like modern light but unsure if it is even supposed to) i'm just wondering if it needs the external controller to be operated?

any help would be great

thanks

I had a tas synchro a while back and there is a switch on one of the back sides which says 0-10 volts or controller try switching it to controller although it shoudn't matter but worth a try because if nothing is connected in the jack socket it should react to sound, and the mirrors only fold in when a jack is connected as it then waits for a signal from a controller, also you could try getting some switch spray from maplins and spray inside the switch as i heard that when dirt gets in it affect the contacts which might stop it from working, worth a try for a few pounds
