Using LEDtrix with fixtures that have a master intensity

Post by tlpronet »

I did a quick search and couldnt find anything on this problem (perhaps i need to dig more) So if i am reposting a problem thats already been answered please forgive me.

My LED Fixtures have 6 channels
1 - master intensity (must be at 255 for the RGB channels to have effect)
2 - Red
3 - Green
4 - Blue
5 - Strobe - is at no strobe at 0 - slow to fast strobe value 10-255
6 - macro Channel

heres the problem Im having, the master intensity channel (ch 1) must be at full for the lights to operate and the rgb channels to take effect, There is no way in LEDtrix to assign this channel and when i try manually bringing that channel to full in freestyler itself, and then i activate ledtrix. it bring the value of channel 1 back down to 0. does anyone know how to fix or address this problem? many Thanks!

Dave

Hey tlpronet.

First Welcome to the FS forum.

Second, I just tried to reproduce the issue, but I can't so so it should be possible to make it work.

You have to make sure that channel 1, 5 and 6 are not controlled by LEDTrix. Use the auto adres feature to do this.

lets say you want to address your fixtures from channel 1:

* Startadress: 2
* Every 3 ch, skip 3 ch

Now, LEDTrix only controls the RGB Channels of your fixtures and you can control the master mannualy, by override buttons, from cue window or from submaster.

I hope this helps you . otherwise feel free to ask again.
