3.6.47 - app doesn't crash but doesn't work

Looking at previous posts, it appears the app was crashing. I just downloaded 3.6.47 and was able to connect - the app doesn't crash, but nothing is displayed properly (sequences, cue lists, fixtures...).

Running on a Samsung S7 with Android 8.0.0. Connects fine with 3.6.37.

Thanks for any help...

Thanks, and apologies for playing Capt. Obvious. It's been a while since I downloaded the app, so I hadn't seen that warning since then.

Im re-developing the app, but keep stopping and starting again.
Hopefully will have some sort of working app released soon-ish

Is there any way I (or other users) can help you with the app, Mattotone? :?:

I'm no professional programmer, but I can program in Java and after getting my PC to talk via TCP to FreeStyler on another computer yesterday, I installed Android Studio to test it as a Android App / write my own remote.

Of course it would be more efficient to concentrate the efforts of many people to one app. I am willing to put my time in this project and of course buy the app as soon as it's working again.

As I wrote in another thread, I know some musician and venue owners I would like to recommend FreeStyler to. But everyone now wants to be able to control it via tablet or smartphone. :| To pay for it wouldn't be a problem for them.

I even thought about getting TouchOSC, but because I want to be able to use two controllers and there's still quite amount of change in the light programming, a native solution would be best.

Apologies for the lack of progress, Iv now updated the core code from my findings from the dipswitch app i released earlier.
Things should progress quicker from this point forward.
