Hi DMX Community

Anyone able to direct me regarding implementing this Fixture in Freestyler?

Wonder if there is a better way to do this than using 3 value sliders.
Especially since the values for each channel create a change after 8 steps for example.

First day trying to implement DMX :o

There is a way you may find more helpful.

Set channel 3 as a color wheel with 8 colors. In Fixture Creator you will find a color wheel tab. There you set the value for each of the 8 colors and place a GIF corresponding to the color. After you place the fixture on the Freestyler workspace and select it (click on it) click on the top menu item Window -> All. This will open a Colors window that shows the GIFs. Click on a GIF will set channel 3 to the value and thus the color.

This can also be done with the GOBOs. Freestyler suppors 3 gobo wheels. You will need to determine, using the standard Freestyler sliders, the value and shape of each different gobo (or you can simply use the Misc_01, Misc_02, etc. GIFs.

I hope you enjoy DMX and Freestyler. It seems confusing a first but you will learn quickly.

Thanks Rod! That's the answer I was looking for!
It's all about getting started for the first few fixtures.
Afterwards the curve should get less steep I guess.
