Hello There.
Examble, I have a MH and I'll try to make an Fixture..
I see the lamp got a moving area at eq 630 degree, I fill this into my fixture , In my head this means that at
127 (dmx 0-255) that the lamp has moved 315 degree, but this is no true..?? why
Even If I try to type something else in, seems to have no function..?? dont know of this is a bug.. seems like it.
Regards

Please export and upload your fixture file.
Please either upload a PDF of the user manual or post a link to the manual.
It is very difficult to help you without more information.

Re: Fixture PAN question
I also tried changing the degrees and did not see any effect. The sliders go from 0 to 255 and that is all that I think matters.
Attached is an updated fixture file. If you like it better than the one you are using please use it. If you think of any improvements let me know.
In the future, when you send a fixture please use the Fixture Creator Export function. The fixture file references other files and just copying the fixture file does not copy all of the other files. If another person then tries to use your fixture file they may not have all the necessary files. The Export function includes all the necessary files.

Re: Fixture PAN question
Hello Thank you..
"I also tried changing the degrees and did not see any effect. The sliders go from 0 to 255 and that is all that I think matters." Yes I understand, but when I got to 255.. the lamp is eq 40 degrees from limit sw. ?
so the software does not make any calculation then..? just go from 0-255... when you have more than 1 type lamp.. I think a better scaling could be nice..
Thankyou for fixture I'll test shortly..

Re: Fixture PAN question
I see on page 6 of the user manual a setting that may control the PAN moving range. This may need to be changed. I do not see a DMX channel that can do this. It can only be performed by using the instruments control panel.

Re: Fixture PAN question
Just a small comment.
The degree entry is only used when you use the flip function.
FS then use the degree info to calculate a new DMX value which correspond to the same beam direction but just turned the fixture 180 deg.
There are more info about this on the wiki I think.
