Fixture not appearing in list

Post by sonicdj »

I'm having an issue adding a fixture that is in the library. The issue is...it's in the library, but not in the list when I go to add fixture. It's an American DJ Vizi Spot LED. You can see it in the Vizi Series folder navigating through My Computer windows, but the subfolders (Vizi Series in particular) don't appear in the fixture list within Freestyler. What am I doing wrong that is preventing me from seeing subfolders? And actually, I don't even see all the main folders in the list. For example, the top one in a My Computer window, looking in directory: C: Freestyler/ScanLibrary, is _Generic. I don't even see that folder within FS.

OK, seriously...am I missing something that's so 101 nobody will answer me? I've spent hours trying to figure out why my fixture isn't showing up, as well as others.

The problem is that ScanLibrary is for 3D easy view and this program has nothing to do with FreeStyler. It is a from Nicolaudine and uses it's own fixtures which has nothing to do with FreeStyler and can't be used by FreeStyler.
FreeStyler fixtures are stored under \\FreeStyler\Fixtures
