Claypaky Alpha 575 Wash & Spot

Post by nkwai »

Hi,
now I've been told that I'll have to work with Claypaky Alpha 575 Wash & Claypaky Alpha 575 Spot on saturday, because the one who shoud be doing is ill. The problem is that I have to use my computer and dont have the fixtures for them. I searched the internet for the channel list and found it, but I don't understand anything, if someone can explayn something it woul'd be great.

Same as your previous one, the list titled "Bit" is the info (channel values) you need to enter into fixture creator the percent is for manual desks i.e. half way is 50% on the slider the image on the left tells you what its doing i.e. the swirl with an arrow is rotating clockwise/anti clockwise!

any more help just ask!

the problem is not that, the problem is that first you have standatd, 16 bit and extended dmx modalityes, and then under evry channel you also have: FulC on/off, LinC on/off, Rain on/off and depending on the options the channel values changes. So wich one do I use?

god i see your point... the only way round that is to make 3 fixture profiles for each mode (some freestyler fixtures have a 16bit profile and basic profile)
or find out what mode your light is in then just make the one that you need, although making the first (normal) profile will save time as making the rest shouldnt be too much trouble with little modifications.

Well now a friend told me that the software of sunlite have them in, so I downloaded it and copyed the settings. Tomorrow will be a test run, and hope there won't be too much to correct.
Thank you for your help, if it will pass the test I'll post them here.
