Feature Request! White in RGBW reacting to sound

Post by djtuk »

I've been using freestyler for over 10 years to run my lightshow. I have recently started replacing my halogen lights with LED fixtures and have run in to an issue. I run using sound 2 light a lot off the time using the virtualdj freestyler8 plugin. I have a pair of LexDJ Goboscan8 lights (http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/122036771308? ... EBIDX%3AIT) these have 4 channels for the pairs of each colour LED 2x Red, 2x Green, 2x Blue and 2x White. I created the fixture file for them as an RGBW fixture but in S2L the white won't respond if it's setup this way. so far the only way i can get the white to work is to set it as a colour wheel channel but this is less than ideal as it then won't blackout. There are quite a few lights on and coming to the market that have white channels on them and i am sure there are people who would want them to work on S2L.

If anyone has any better ideas or if I am missing something on how to get them to work correctly then please advise.

Fixture file is included for reference.
