Note this is a not tested fixture.
Color may be wrong because they are found by there names on the net.

This Center effect is basically 6 scanners with an extra macro / common control.
The scanner control has 3 channel to control Pan, Tilt and Color
The Macro control has 4 channels Movement macro + speed and Color macro + speed.

This fixture can be set to a 4 channel mode, 18 channel mode and a 22 channel mode.

4 Channel mode:
Macro control fixture.

18 Channel mode:
6 scanner fixtures are to be used.
Arddress.
1 – 3 Scanner 1
4 – 6 Scanner 2
7 – 9 Scanner 3
10 – 12 Scanner 4
13 – 15 Scanner 5
16 – 18 Scanner 6

22 Channel mode:
6 scanner fixtures are to be used.
Only Macro control fixture.

4 – 6 Scanner 2
7 – 9 Scanner 3
10 – 12 Scanner 4
13 – 15 Scanner 5

Hi,

Thanks again for this fixture profile.

I have found a couple of things:

1.) I had to configure the shutter channel as 3 and closed as DMX 1 so blackout would work
2.) The colours are way out as you said they might be, when my new haze machine turns up and I can see the beams I am going to redo, I think you got it right by the names in the manual but unfortunately the names dont match the actual colours produced.

Once done I will upload the new profile.

I am starting to think this unit is best left on the SA macro as programming this to do anything decent will be very time consuming!

Thanks again!

Hej

I see your point in blackout.
What do you set your open value to. ?

And it will be great if you can upload the fixture with colors.
I have used it as a tutorial in the wiki :)

Hi Jan,

It didn't force me to put an open value but in the end I put 255 in which is the sort of white colour it does :)

I had to set the shutter channel on the CTRL also but there is a problem with this, you can only set one shutter chan per fixture and with the CTRL both chans 2 and 4 must be 0 for blackout to work, so depending on what you are doing it still doesn't always work.

I might split the CTRL in to 2 separate fittings to get round this :)

Hi,

Files as promised, the colours should be more accurate now, its tricky as a lot of the colours on this unit are very similar!

Hej

Here is something I don't under stand.

Channel 1 / 19 is the one for movement control and the value 255 should bring it into sound mode.
It should not have anything to do with Open and Closed shutter.

Well sometimes you need to have the fixture to figure out whats wrong.
I would had guessed that it was the scanner part that had to control the shutter and thereby blackout.

Can see that the colors was a bit off :)

If you need more icons and colors then there are two fixtures that only contain icons.
Install them and you have all the icons available.

Hi Jan,

Im not sure what you mean?

Ch 19 = Preprogrammed shows and around 255 on this is sound activated mode, 0 being LED's off/closed shutter :)

The colours are a bit ood because it is a TRI LED light, if you look at the fixture the colours look solid but if you look at the actual beans the colours always seem to be half red/half green etc etc

Here is a brief video of it in action:

I will download and install the extra colours thanks :)

Channel 1 and 19 are the same, one in 4 ch mode and the ofter in 22 ch mode.

As you can in the DMX table, it is movement not light control. That is why I look like this :?:
Blackout is on ch 3.

But here I think I need the fixture to detect what works and what dosen't. :D

Ah yes I see what you mean, but the problem is if you are using channel 19 (22 ch mode) say you have the light on movement 1, if you then set channel 21 (22 ch mode) to blackout it wont blackout unless channel 19 is also on 0-9

Can you see what I mean, both 19 and 21 must be 0-9 for it to blackout, if either are anything else it doesn't blackout.

That is why I am thinking we need to split the CTRL in to two separate 2 chan fixtures :)

Yes I see.

It may be an idea for a feature request to make a global color for blackout where it then will be possible use a macro for blackout. The macro can then set more channels at the same time.

Yes I was thinking that maybe they could do something simple like run any macros called "!backout" or similar when blackout is pressed :)

Its also worth noting on this light anything you do on channels 19-22 override anything you do on 1-18 :)

Question.

If ch. 19 and ch. 21 are set to 0 then channel 1 to 18 are in control.
