Moving head Gobo/Pan Issue

Post by Mateuszdybowski »

Hi all,

I'm currently running a QTX MHS-30 mini moving head (please find attached the manual). Its 8 channel and I've attempted to create my own fixture for it. All gone well except from when I Pan ( not happening when tilting ) and I'm on the Open gobo (Ch3 000-011) the gobos start changing on their own. It cycles through all the gobos and then returns to the spot. This does not happen for any other gobo just this one!

Please also find attached my fixture for this light and a video of my problem.

Any help would be greatly appreciated as it is really bugging me.

Many thanks
Mateusz

Do you have more of this fixtures?
If so, put them on the same address and make a test.
If only this one is doing that, check cables inside and position of gobo hall sensor. Sometimes bad position or short circuit of hall sensor is doing this.
If all of them are behaving the same, check the DMX output values in the "Show output" window.
