Help! Sound 2 Light not controlling my lights

Hi All,

I have 24 (single colour) LED strips connected to a 24 channel LED>DMX controller. Each of the channels is configured as a separate fixture in Freestyler using these basic settings:

I can control the brightness of each LED strip fine, so as far as I was concerned they were all set up and working correctly.

However, I cannot get them to react to music played on my laptop when I use the Sound 2 Light function. I have:

- Right clicked all of the fixtures and enabled "React to sound"
- Added all of the fixtures that I want to control to a group.
- Ensured that the correct sound device is selected - and verified that it is detecting a beat.

(And yes, despite the image showing it is Paused, I did set it to Running...)


I'd REALLY appreciate any assistance you are all able to give. This is all quite new to me and all I'm looking for is to flash lights to the music for a charity gig I've put together for halloween.

I don't think the random sound to light feature is currently working,

Create a simple sequence that controls your 24 strings, set the sound to light to jump to the next cue.
then play the sequence and click the react to sound icon in the plack back window
