need help with FixtureCreator - fixture fails to load

Post by Dangox »

Hi there,

I'm new to Freestyler, I set up my own fixtures, which contains two different types of MovingHeads.
Now comes the problem;

when i try to open one of the MovingHead fixtures (tried from FS - [rightClick on MH-Fixture, edit fixture] and from FixtureCreator 6.9.1 directly), i get an error [invalid Picture], i click ok, than the error window opens again with [Bad file name or number]. the error massages keepeng reapearing again and again, after a thousand further massages FixtureCreator finaly opens, but with nearly all Parameters set wit [2co]

the Fixture itself is working fine, but i have to modify it further for my pleasure.

---------------------------------

sorry, i just found the solution by myself, i leave the topic for people, which will expirience this problem in the future.

I guess something went wrong with the making of a custom picture...

it were two different .bmp files in the colour folder, which caused the error. I replaced them just with another picture, which i copied and renamed to the problem causing image

for further researching i attached a sample of the error causing image-file
