Hello,

I installed freestyler dmx 3.6.45, but I have a laser LAS148RGB form ibiza light that al the times twinkle ...
With the earlyer versions of freestyler i don't have that problem, and i can controll my laser very good.
I use the velleman K8xxx dmx dongle.

I was looking for a solution, and what i found is when in freestyler setup, where you can choose your dongle, that when i cklick on reset output of my dongle, the problem is gone ...

Somebody that can tell me more what this problem can be pelase ?

Thanks !

Hello,

I did a test last night with version 3.6.43 and there is also the problem.
Also did a test with version 3.5.5 and there is no problem.

The thing that I can see is that the led on my velleman pinks faster with version 3.5.5 than in version 3.6.43.
So is there something that is slower now in the newer versions ?

Also when i reset output, then the laser is working, but my moving heads doesn't react anymore ...

Hope somebody can tell me more about this ...

Thanks !

Hi, and one's again a test on another PC with version 3.6.45.

I create a new location with my laser into it (only one fixture), and that works great.
Then, i add some fixtures, and the laser sometimes twinkles ...
When I add more fixtures, so all that i need, then I have the laser ho twinkles a lot .

So how more device in the setup, then the twinkeling is more.
So maybe someting wrong with timing ?

What can I do please ?

Hi There,

Please check the driver of the DMX interface. Reinstall the driver. (Make sure the device is not plugged in when you reinstall the driver.)

Try a different refresh rate or try a different interface.

It sounds like an issue with the interface or it's settings.

Thanks.
