React to sound turns off in cues

In the cue window parameters, "react to sound" is enabled. When I load a new submaster into the cue, "react to sound" becomes disabled for almost all of cues.

How do I keep "react to sound" in the cues enabled?

You must select the sound to light THEN save the cue, you can hit "quick save"

I use submasters, not cues directly. I have 5 subs for my moving heads for example. They are all linked. If I change the color using one of my color subs, it switches react to sound off in the cue for all of the subs that were linked as well as other cues for other fixtures.

The only way to use react to sound is in the cues? I never had the cue window open as it always seemed to work fine. I opened it for the first time in a year because the react to sound wasn't working after installing the update.
