Hello,
I have a JB systems panther light effect and other light effect.
I'm creating fade in and fade out in the light show, that is working good on my RGB par lights, also on moving heads, space 250 scanners ...
But i also have the panther, and there it is not working because there is no dim channel on it.
How can i solve this ? Is there a solutions that when we choose for fade out for example, that he goes into blackout ? Or on a certain value that he switches from on to off ?
I hope someone have a solution for this ...
Thanks !!!

If I understand the manual, setting channel 2 to 0 will black out the instrument. Without a DIM channel I do not see a way to fade in/out.

Yes, it true there is no intensity channel.
But is it possible that when yoy choose fade in/out, that then the function blackout for this lamp is activated.
Because now in my show, when i do fade out, everything goes out slowly, but this panther scanner stay's giving light. So it is nicer that he directly goes to off for example.

Re: How to control master intensity on lights without dim channel
Since black out is on the GOBO channel and not a dimmer channel Freestyler will not send fade in / fade out values to it. AND you do not want Freestyler to do so because that would cause the GOBOs to rotate.
Using a 2 scene sequence may work for you.
Fade up sequence: scene 1 fades up the other lights, scene 2 opens the gobo channel
Fade down sequence: scene 1 sets the gobo channel to black out, scene 2 fades out the other lights.
In both of these sequences the gobo channel scene would be set as short as possible and the value set to snap. The other scene would be set to fade and the times to your needs.

Alternatively you can get the Intensity channel to the shutter in the device profile.
EG.
Intensity - Channel 2
Value off = 0
Value Full = 1
Won't fade but will go out with the others
