Hi there!
I'm using freestyle for a few months now and I get the hang of it pretty well.
However, what still confuse me are some of the terminology. I know how to use override buttons and how to make sequences but what is what, how they are related and what makes them different; I have no clue. For example; I can start a sequences with the cue window or with override buttons. So for me there is no difference... but that is probably wrong.
There for my question: 'what are they for, what makes them handy and what is the difference between sequences, cues, sub-masters & override buttons?'
Thanks!
note: yes I've checked the wiki and the internet
sequences, cues, sub-masters, override buttons

Re: sequences, cues, sub-masters, override buttons
A sequence is capable of multiple steps that run in time. An Override button can only be 1 step and will override any other commands. Both are made the same way and are saved the same way, where you put them determines whether a sequence or override. Submasters and Cuelists are ways of stacking sequences for ease of access. Sequences are usually built of movements and chases. Overrides are usually programmed for shutter, color, gobo, prizm, ...
