software only controls first 6 fixtures

I just started using this software and can't get freestyler to control any of my fixtures past 7. For whatever reason when it gets to my laser (which I programmed as a simple seven channel fixture), it stops working. So the laser, and the other two fixtures further down the line don't work at all, but all other 6 work perfectly.

To double check, I plugged my system back into my obey70 and had no problem at all controlling all of the lights.

I just updated to the latest release of freestyler, and I'm using a uDMX dongle (which could be the problem) . Any ideas would appreciated!

To what address to did you set the fixtures down the line after your laser?

Laser = 97
Strobe = 113
Chauvet LED color strip = 129

my bet says that you USB DMX is limited on the amount of channels you can control. On the setup page in Freestyler where you selected your USB interface there is also a checkbox for how many channels it uses, check 512

YES!!!! Thank you PARTYMAN!!! I've been so frustrated with this!! I'm so glad it was such a simple solution. It was setup at 96 channels instead of 512. I must not have paid much attention to that setting when I was getting it all set up. Now I can start the fun part and actually start creating scenes!
