Hi,
I use a MIDI controller which sends Note On/Off properly, and i can trigger/control any Freestyler function properly.
The MIDI Out protocol (LEDs) of this controller is kinda weird though.
Sending 9n XX 00 turns the LED orange
Sendng 9n XX 01 turns the LED green
Sending 9n XX 03 turns the LED purple
nor here comes the weird one..
Sending 9n XX 7F (which is 127 in decimal), it turns the LED OFF !
So, as you may understand, when i toggle a Cuelist, the LED is Off when the Cuelist is running and On when not.
Is there a way to determine what velocity value is the On state, so that i can use the available colors properly ?
I am also considering buying a MIDI Controller with RGB LEDs, such as the Launcpad MKII, but if there is no way to use the RGB values as velocity to MIDI Out, that would not be much useful.
Read something about "rules", but no idea how those are used/saved/edited
Thanks
Midi Out velocity

Re: Midi Out velocity
You cannot change those values in Freestyler. You will have to use another software like Midi-Ox to rewrite the values in the controller
