MIDI controller button lighting? [SOLVED]

I have a behringer LC-1 that works fine, except the buttons don't light up in any other color but orange. It's supposed to have RGB possibilities to color code buttons - which does work when i fire up other software like Virtual DJ.
Does this need to have it's own drivers written? Or are there settings I am missing? If that's the case I may switch to something like a novation mini.

On a side note, i'm also unable to get the rotary controls to use the range of 0-255, as in act as a fader.

Any help appreciated!

Hi

all this is because your midi controller is not supported for freestyler.

freestyler works great with midi controllers like the BCF2000, BCR2000.
and other midi controler where you can MAP all the midi note's.

as freestyler work the best with midi controllers that sends CC#/controlchange midi commands.

as for the buttons, freestyler only sends ON or OFF command and not State1, State2, State3, State4.
so its correct you only see 2 colors. the OFF color and ON color.

Virtual dj had the same issue .. max walked me through it . We used a midi assignment to change stuff and the dials worked . I will post a YouTube video after I get this fixed in the same way .
