Spacing of pars for useful effect and dmx limits

Post by bckeeping »

Hi Guys,

I am having some difficulty with the plugins in getting a meaningful pattern on the preview.
e.g. if I use a 10 x 10 grid I cant get a useful image to show, it is always a tiny piece of the pattern.

Using the suntrix plugin, I haven't yet managed to get the preview to show the wave pattern completely, as per the image Raph posted.

What is the ideal grid size for using these plugins?

Also, given that dmx has a limitation of 512 channels, limiting a grid size if the cans have 7 channels each, is there anyway to get the artnet output to use more than one universe so that this can be increased?

Kind Regards
Ben

Freestyler only supports one DMX universe. I don't know if that is gonna change some time. And so far i know/have tried you cant have 2 Freeestyler's running at the same computer so you could use two universes
